ACTIVE's ZRX1200 DAEG

ZRX1200_ACTIVE_01.jpg

Here's a ZRX1200 DAEG custom by ACTIVE. The three important things of a bike: accelerating, turning, and stopping, were set up by thoroughly pursuing weight reduction and balance of parts, aiming to create a machine that allows the riders to experience dramatic changes as soon as they ride on it. Among these, handling is espacially related to a bike's running and turning. One way to improve handling is that the stock bikini cover is mounted on the fork, while this ZRX1200 DAEG has been converted to a frame mount with Active's original cover mounting bracket. In addition, the weight of the bike has significantly decreased by replacing the stock tank with the one made of aluminum. The swingarm is a lightweight, highly rigid press-formed product developed by ACTIVE for naked bikes. The reduction of spring's bottom weight and the characteristics of high-grip tires make sport riding with DAEG more enjoyable. The front and rear suspension are both HYPERPRO's products, which are set up for the Japanese road environment. In addition, brake parts other than calipers, such as masters, rotors, and brake lines, are equipped with products that ACTIVE has been developing for a long time, which increase braking power and controllability. In addition, this bike has some aftermarket parts which were still under development. For example, a new down tube reinforcement bar was added to support frame rigidity, which is a concern due to the strengthened suspension. This reinforcement bar is equipped with machined aluminum clamps for weight reduction. DAEG is popular for their all-around enjoyability and ease of use, but customization can further expand the possibilities of the bike. It means you can enjoy DAEG differently than before.
