The performance was thoroughly checked by the bench test, and it was developed to make the best use of the characteristics of CB250R. The concept is to pursue the power feeling and visual which cannot be achieved by slip-on. A chamber pipe is adopted in the middle of the center pipe, and while maintaining the overwhelming power feeling, it suppresses the bursting sound unique to a single engine at full throttle and reduces the unpleasant noise, realizing "fast and comfortable" driving. In terms of power, the response has been improved, and from low speed to high speed, it kicks up powerfully without falling below the stock range. In terms of sound quality, it is finished so that you can enjoy its comfort not only for town use but also for touring. On the visual side, it is a high-end specification with O.M.J.N coating that "keeps its shine semi-permanently". It is a product that you can enjoy "the texture that doesn't change with age" that suppresses the progress of corrosion by the exhaust heat forever.
For the development of the exhaust for CB250R (model 2BK-MC52), WR's decided to use a full exhaust system instead of a slip-on system.
And here's why....
・The CB250R has a black painted stock exhaust pipe, which is not visually pleasing or uncomfortable when replaced with a slip-on.WR'S has received many requests from users to develop a full-expansion model. ・The power change is small in the case of the slip-on, and I want you to develop the full power specification of the full exhaust.
Requests such as the above have been sent to WR'S.
Several manufacturers have already released slip-on exhaust systems, but WR'S has decided to develop and release a full exhaust system in response to user requests. The first step in the development of this full exhaust is to develop a slip-on exhaust, which is not planned to be released. After finding the best performance with this slip-on, WR's started to develop the full exhaust using this slip-on as a benchmark. In the case of slip-on, it can increase the torque slightly, but it can only increase the output slightly at the peak. However, with the full exhaust, the power started to increase from the low speed range without dropping below the stock level, and at the peak, the power increased by about 2 horsepower. By the way, CB250R was 2 horsepower less than CBR250R in the catalog specification, but by using the full exhaust system, it was able to surpass the catalog specification of CBR250R. The full exhaust system can be freely laid out from the exhaust pipe, giving the bike a more attractive visual appearance. The middle part of the exhaust pipe is an "elliptical chamber pipe". Not only the volume but also the sound quality of the single sound has been suppressed and a comfortable single sound has been realized, and it is the specification that does not choose the environment of use from town use and touring use. The exhaust pipe is made of stainless steel and the surface of the exhaust pipe is treated with "O.M.J.N Coating" which prevents the stainless steel from being burnt by the exhaust heat and keeps the shine of the exhaust pipe permanently. Stainless steel has a golden color at first, but it changes to a dull color and corrodes in the process of use. This is a high end model full exhaust with this special coating, but the price is kept reasonable, so WR's hope that as many users as possible can get their hands on it.
Points of Attention
* If there may be an instruction manual included, it will be written in Japanese.
I like the look and feel of the OEM exhaust system too, but it's pretty big It's heavy I chose this Full Exhaust System to replace it After the installation, it seems to have become another motorcycle Refreshing I don't know the torque feeling or power feeling, but the body became light It feels like... (actually lighter) I think the OEM might have been pretty good too It was The sound is about as good as the OEM sound The sound of the exhaust system came to be heard while driving instead of only mechanical sound I did It might be because of the angle I think that the regulation has become very strict I think that the price is about this much for Full Exhaust System It was a little troublesome to find the position of the Band of Silencer at the time of installation It was a little troublesome to find the position of the silencer's band at the time of installationView Detail
